ON MISSION HOUR

Luke 19:10

"for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

ON MISSION HOUR at United in Christ is what traditionally has been called Sunday School. ON MISSION HOUR is a bible study model in which small groups carry out all of God's biblically mandated purposes of the church during a specific block of time normally assigned to Sunday School. These mandated purposes are:

Evangelism - Leading people to a belief and a greater
faith in Jesus Christ.

Discipleship - Leading people to grow spiritually, live
in obedience to God's word and follow Him wholly.

Fellowship - Leading people to make building godly,
loving relationships a priority.

Ministry/Missions - Leading people to discover their
spiritual gifts and to use those gifts in edifying the
body of Christ.

Worship - Leading people to express their adoration,
honor and love for God.

ON MISSION HOUR is not just for children! We offer classes for all age groups. Our teachers are called, Shepherds. We invite you to come and check out our classes. We have one just for you.

Galatians - grades K to 3rd
Ephesians - grades 4th to 6th
Young Blessings - Middle School
God's Property - High School
Acts - Young Adults, ages 18 to 35
Psalms - Middle Adults, ages 36 to 44
Nehemiah - Adults, ages 45 to 55
Disciples - Adults, ages 56-65
Genesis - Senior Adults, over 65
Revelation - Senior Adults, over 65
